Backup Procedure

If you have successfully installed the eSIM on your device and have input "globalnet" under you APN setting but are still unable to get roaming active, try the following backup procedure.

For iOS

Step 1: Download the configuration profile on your phone using this link https://t26.ch/APN-globalnet

Once you see the above prompt on your phone, click "Allow".

Step 2 (Optional): If requested, choose a device and select iPhone, as seen in the below screenshot.

Step 3: Select the profile in Settings. Go to Settings on your iPhone, and Select ‘Profile Downloaded’.

Step 4: You will now see a screen with "T26 APN: globalnet" ready for installation. Click "Install" to start the process.

Step 5: A Warning will display: The network traffic of your iPhone maybe filtered or monitored by a mobile data configuration. Click Install again.

Step 6: Profile installed. Click Done.

You should now have roaming enabled. Make sure you check all the relevant settings.

For Android

If you have you checked all the relevant settings and are still unable to activate roaming, try the following steps.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks. And select the installed eSIM.

Step 2: Tap Access Point Names. Tap Add to add the new APN.

Step 3: Enter:

  • a. A Name for the Access Point. This can be anything you like

  • b. Enter the APN: globalnet

  • c. Enter the MMSC: http://mms.telecom26.ch

  • d. Enter the multimedia message Proxy: 10.110.22.37

  • e. Enter the multimedia message Port: 8089

  • f. Enter the APN Type: default, mms

  • g. Leave all other values as default

Step 4: Click ‘Save’ to finalise and create your new APN.

Step 5: Enable the new APN by activating the radio button

You should now have roaming enabled. Make sure you check all the relevant settings.
