Depinsim introduces a protocol-native mining model that transforms each eSIM-enabled device into a connectivity participation node, enabling users to contribute to the decentralized network and earn rewards through verified activity.

Rather than relying on computation-heavy mining or blockchain consensus participation, Depinsim’s mining model is built on Proof-of-Connection (PoC²) — where real-world connectivity, uptime, and network stability generate measurable value.

In this context, “mining” represents the process of converting verified mobile connectivity into economic participation, not traditional cryptographic computation.


How It Works

Each Depinsim eSIM can activate a virtual Miner within the app, allowing the device to participate in the network through verified connection activity.

The system evaluates participation based on:

  • Active connection time

  • Network stability and signal integrity

  • Contribution to global coverage and availability

These metrics are validated through PoC² and recorded on-chain, producing Mined Data as proof of contribution.

Users do not validate blockchain transactions, run consensus nodes, or perform energy-intensive computation.


From Connectivity to Value

Verified participation generates Mined Data, which represents the quantified output of a user’s network contribution.

Mined Data can then be:

  • Converted into $ESIM tokens

  • Redeemed for global eSIM data services

  • Used within protocol-defined incentive mechanisms
